KINGSTON, ON – Novari Health is pleased to announce it has completed a successful implementation of its Cardiac Services Referral Management™ solution.

The software as a service (SaaS) technology is being provided to Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre as an electronic means to manage the intake, referral, and workflow management for Cardiovascular Programs. The Novari Cardiac Services Referral Management software allows hospital based cardiac programs to eliminate paper and improve the program’s referral workflows for cardiologists, clerical staff, hospital management, and leadership. The Novari Health technology provides front line staff and management with accurate and real-time data on the volume of requisitions, the status of every patient’s referral and bottlenecks in the system.

The Ontario Ministry of Health, Ontario Health, and hospitals across the province have been working to mitigate the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on patients waiting for many healthcare services. Having a modern wait list management system complements these efforts for all patients including those waiting for cardiac, surgical, and other services.

Novari Health’s innovative and unique access to care technologies are live and being implemented at hospitals and regional health authorities in Canada and Australia. The Novari access to care platform helps improve access to care, wait times, and drive efficiencies for patients accessing a wide variety of health care services including surgery, mental health & addictions, diabetes, cardiac, medical imaging, etc.

John Sinclair

“The Cardiovascular Sciences Program centered out of Thunder Bay provides lifesaving services across a geographically large catchment area. I am proud that the Novari referral management and central intake system is being used as the enabling technology to manage referrals (often urgent) from across the region and that the system is having a meaningful impact to patient care.” – John Sinclair, CPHIMS-CA, President, Novari Health
