KINGSTON, ON – May 27, 2024 – Novari Health, an award-winning provider of digital wait list management, central intake, and referral management solutions, has successfully launched its innovative platform at an integral rural hospital network.

The Novari ATC™ surgical wait list management software is now live and operational at Wellington Health Care Alliance, comprised of three rural hospitals responsible for providing comprehensive, round-the-clock care to thousands of residents of southwestern Ontario.

Novari’s software as a service (SaaS) technology allows surgeons and surgical staff members to use a standardized wait list platform to seamlessly coordinate and schedule procedures throughout the entire health care network. It’s an important technological solution that helps maximize efficient usage of the operating rooms, assists in the organization’s efforts to have patients receive surgical care in their recommended clinical window and it allows the hospitals to operate as a cohesive network.

The alliance is leveraging Novari’s compatibility and integration with its Meditech hospital information system. Novari technologies compliment and integrate with hospital information systems and electronic medical record systems including Meditech, Oracle Health (Cerner), Epic, and others.

This state-of-the-art solution complements efforts made by the government of Ontario and hospitals across the province to mitigate legacy effects of the COVID-19 pandemic and the human healthcare resources (HHR) shortage. At a time when the need for efficiency in the health care system has never been greater, Novari is proud to provide and implement its award-winning, evidence-backed solutions at hospitals that are working tirelessly to help their patients.

Hospitals and health authorities across Canada and Australia are using Novari’s proven and unique access-to-care technologies to meaningfully improve access to care, reduce wait times and drive efficiencies for patients across the health care spectrum.

“Our partnership with Novari Health helps us to deliver timely, high-quality care to our patients when and where they need it. Implementing smart technological solutions is an important tool that can help us maximize efficiency and meet the needs of our communities.” – Richard Al, VP Infrastructure and Diagnostics and Chief Information Officer, Wellington Health Care Alliance
