Desired Skills and Experience

  • 5+ years of development experience using the .NET framework with C#
  • 3+ years of experience using SQL Server
  • 3+ years of experience with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
  • Demonstrated communication and team interaction skills
  • Knowledgeable of common software design patterns

Project Manager

Job Description

Status: Full Time 

Location: Preferred location is Kingston Ontario

 

Novari Health specializes in designing, building, implementing and supporting a software platform focused on improving access to care for patients.  Our software solutions are sold to hospitals, health authorities (LHINs) and provincial governments across Canada and into Australia.  The success of our Novari Access to Care Platform™ means we are busy implementing and configuring its various modules for multiple clients and are therefore looking for a project manager to join our team.

Desired Skills and Experience

Specific Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Lead and coordinate multiple concurrent projects
  • Frequent reporting and communication on project status to project sponsors and senior leaders
  • Develop detailed work plans, schedules, resource plans, risk registers, issue logs, lessons learned documentation, role/task definitions, and status reports
  • Provides project management leadership on the execution of the plans.
  • Leads project and functional team meetings to monitor progress and challenges of projects
  • Assess problem situations to identify causes, gather and process relevant information, generate possible solutions and make recommendations and/or resolve the problem
  • Ensure project compliance and scope aligns with client contract

 

Qualifications

  • University degree preferred in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, Health Sciences and/or related field
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is an asset
  • Sound knowledge of project management methodologies and applicable healthcare industry experience
  • Experience with systems architectures in a health care setting is an asset
  • Ability to travel (when required) to support project implementations is a requirement
  • Experience with client relations with excellent presentation, communication, change management and technical writing skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize tasks and manage deadlines effectively
  • Experience with MS Office with proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Vision
  • Leadership qualities with proven ability to positively influence others to achieve results that are in the best interest of the team
